About the Author

Alen Hadzic is a clinical research entrepreneur and the founder of Predictive Enrollment Engineering™, a discipline that applies mathematical modeling, probabilistic funnel analytics, and statistical validation to clinical trial patient enrollment. He is also CEO of Clinical Trial Scan™ and the inventor of DYNO AI™, a probabilistic, funnel-based enrollment prediction platform.

Why this site exists

Enrollment is the most common reason clinical trials slip their timelines, yet it is still planned with vendor anecdote and single-point promises. This site documents an alternative: treating enrollment as an engineered system with defined inputs, measured stage-to-stage conversion, and forecastable outputs. It is written for sponsors, contract research organizations, site networks, and principal investigators as an educational and reference resource — not as a product page. Nothing here is for sale and no account is required.

Scope of the work

The published material covers funnel modeling across interest, prescreen, contact, appointment, show, screen-pass, and enrollment; probability-based forecasting with confidence intervals rather than point estimates; operational systems thinking for enrollment teams; and participant psychology across every funnel stage, including how trust accumulated early reduces dropout after a participant has already consented. Proprietary benchmark figures and protocol-level forecasts are not published here; the reasoning behind them is.
